Leaving Princess Louisa Inlet. The Malibu Club in the sunshine. A large yacht fills Malibu rapids. "Nova Spirit".....well, I've got the spirit, but not the $$.
Colorful towels and swimsuits dry on the railing at the Malibu Club. So what are they wearing now? Queen's Reach. Egmont. Chatterbox Falls to Egmont.

Leaving Princess Louisa Inlet the morning sun illuminates the mountainsides and the disant snowfields. We wait for a few minutes while a large yacht navigates the narrow and shallow channel called Malibu Rapids. Then it's a quick run down to Egmont, near the Skookumchuck Narrows, for a fuel stop. Leg one of day 3 totals 40.5 miles in 2:26 hours for an average speed of 17 knots.

There is this cool waterfall in Hotham Sound that runs down from Freil Lake....

We stopped for a few minutes at Schooner Cove, but there was not much going on so we continued on to Nanaimo. Nanaimo has a rich history and nicely showcased along the promenade for all to enjoy. Seaplanes and Yachts.
Egmont to Nanaimo.

I guess I forgot to take many pics during the voyage from Egmont to Nanaimo on the afternooon of day 3. You'll just have to visit the area for a firsthand look. We had a nice cruise down the coast of Texada Island, tucked into Anderson Bay for lunch and then a leisurely look at Jedediah Island and Bull Passage.

75 miles in 4:34 hours, an average of 16 knots

Two Tollycrafts, a 26 and a 34. "Obsession", a 34 Tollycraft alot like mine! Seaplanes catch the first rays of the morning sun. I love the lines of the Mikelson 50. I want one!

There are so many things to see and great places to explore, it's hard to fit it all into one lifetime....but ya gotta try!

If ya enjoyed the pics.....more on page 5.
